Who we are

What we collect

Who we share it with (third parties who process data on our behalf)
GoDaddy - our web hosting provider. Hosts the site and its server logs.
Cloudflare - security/performance service sitting in front of the site. Sees traffic and IP addresses to filter bots and attacks.
Mailchimp - stores newsletter signups (name + email) and sends the emails on our behalf. See Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy.
How long we keep it
Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for as long as necessary for security and operational purposes, typically no longer than 12 months.
Your rights (POPIA)
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal information, or withdraw newsletter consent at any time (every email has an unsubscribe link). Contact info@yoked.co.za to exercise these rights.
We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use analytics or advertising trackers.
Cookie Use
We only use one cookie today:

This cookie doesn’t track you for advertising and can’t be disabled without breaking Cloudflare’s security protection, so no cookie consent banner/toggle is required for it under POPIA. If we add analytics or marketing cookies later, we’ll update this policy and add a consent banner at that time.
